Tamilnadu Postal Circle Recruitment 2014 – Department of Posts, Office of the Chief Postmaster General,Tamilnadu Circle, Chennai has issued an Employment Notification for the Recruitment of 227 Multi-Tasking Staff (MTS) Vacancies in various Administrative Offices. To fill up these posts, Online Application are invited from the candidates for the 227 vacancies.

Eligibility Criteria :

Age Limit:

Candidate age must be between 18 to 27 years as on 05-03-2014. Age Relaxation is applicable as per rules.

Educational Qualification :

For Administrative offices: Matriculation or Equivalent or ITI from recognized Boards. (Equivalent qualification will be accepted subject to verification of the approving authority).

For Subordinate offices: Matriculation or ITI from recognized Boards.

Pay Scale:

Pay Band Rs. 5200-20200 with Grade Pay of Rs. 1800 + admissible allowances.

Application Fee :

Applicants need to pay Rs. 25/- mandatory for all candidates.

Examination Fee :

Applicants need to pay Rs.175/-

Payment Details :

Candidates have to pay Application Fee and Examination Fee separately in any of the Post Offices through e-payment specifying the name of examination and Division/Unit for which he/she is applying and submit original receipt along with the application.

Note: All women candidates and applicants belonging to scheduled caste/scheduled tribe/ physically handicapped categories are exempted from payment of examination fee only.

Selection Procedure :

Candidates will be selected on the basis of marks obtained in Aptitude Test will be taken to draw merit list in each Division/Unit and selection will be purely on merit basis.
